No, still human. Lailah showed her memories and possessed her for a moment. If you look up the wikia Chi stays human, but from what I checked eventually is one of maou's generals, and Maou and Emi are working around that time to beat the true antagonist...who isn't even shown until MUCH later.

It was amusing to see Maou and Ashiya taking the train and then later having to go up the stairs to look for Raguel, not having their powers is really inconvenient lol. I really thought we were going to see Maou shove cola up Raguel's nose.

Interesting to see a "To be continued..." I guess the gap between this and the next season won't be as long as the gap between the first and this season.

So the season with Maou and the gang ends. I honestly can't say I was pleased with it. I'm not gonna talk about the animation and the visual changes to the characters. I didn't much like the whole plot. It was kind of meh. It lacked that "oompf" that would catch my attention. The first season brought us something interesting - a demon lord working at McDonald's. This season, the whole "part-timer" thing just went to hell. We were introduced to some angels, some form of struggle between different beings, and such... but for me it was all so forgettable I don't actually remember much of it.
We were all initially hyped up for the 2nd season, but well... I was disappointed. The one good thing might've been Alas Ramus - who was cute, but she wasn't as cute as Yaeka, so... Another good thing might be the Ashiya + Rika ship. Emi's mom does catch my attention, but it came a bit too late. Tho I'm gonna watch the 3rd season, I'll be much more reserved towards it.

Final verdict - 6/10

it was boring but i also think it due to the animation & visual changes characters though. season 2 was not needed

ONCE WE got to the "gang gets a tv", it felt more like season 1 used to. especially with the animation being more willing to change for sake of comedy and do more expressions
